Greensender, LLC

Posted on 16 April 2008 by mmloban

Company Name: Greensender, LLC
Industry: Environmental Consumer Goods
Founder: Mike Aaron
Website: www.greensender.com

What differentiates you from other organizations?

Greensender exists to help close the chasm that exists between awareness and good intentions related to living a more environmentally friendly lifestyle and actually taking action. Greensender occupies the unique space of providing consumers and corporations a collection of high-quality, high-style products that can help someone get started incorporating some simple green practices into their daily life. The quality of the branding and packaging of the proposition is a major differentiator for Greensender.

What social change do you want to accomplish?

At Greensender we want to assist in the widespread adoption of simple green practices. Many people are overwhelmed by the environmental issues we face and are not certain what to do in response. At Greensender we recognize that none of us can fix the problems tomorrow or fix the problems by ourselves but we believe that every person has a responsibility to “get started” doing something. Start small and do more as time goes on.

Why do you think social entrepreneurship matters?

We believe that social entrepreneurship matters because we live in a time and a society that is commerce-driven. And if our commerce does not adopt and embody values that are beneficial to humanity, then we are in big trouble.
