Why we do it?

It is hard to pinpoint the exact reason we decided to launch this site. I guess it was a combination of things that over time urged us to enter the field of social entrepreneurship.

Factor 1.

Global challenges will not go away. In fact challenges do not become opportunities unless somebody is willing to approach them.

Factor 2.

Entrepreneurship is a job of the future. The number of people who are willing to take on risks that are associated with starting and running a business are growing rapidly through the years. Even successful corporations encouraged their employees to be entrepreneurial - identify opportunities and propose viable solutions.

Factor 3.

There is no comprehensive site that would feature news on social entrepreneurship. Plus we are so much more than just news.

Factor 4.

Sir Richard Branson says: “Screw it. Let’s do it.” It is important to start somewhere, we decided to start here. Sometimes it is important just to roll the dice and make the first step. Our first step is to provide you with a comprehensive news site on the field of social entrepreneurship.
